EPIDAUROS, Theater in der Hafenstadt (Argolis, Achaea)

Beschreibung

Das dem Dionysos geweihte Theater lag am Hang der Akropolis. Im mittleren 4. Jh. v. Chr. wurde es erbaut, erhielt im Hellenismus ein Proskenion und einen weiteren Umbau in römischer Zeit.
